It’s a good idea to set up a new (alias) email address for freebies if you don’t want info or spam emails about each company sent to you.
You can then use this as your email when they ask for your details in order to get the freebie.

This one is only useful if you shop at a certain store a lot.
If they have a loyalty card or programme don’t put off signing up. It can take a long time to build up points but the rewards can be great.
